• Secret keeper: JA Mash (Only JA will know who wrote what. She will check entries to be sure they’ve been beta’d and that they abide by the rules, and then she will post the entries to the FF account and to the blog)

What: ANONYMOUS Non-Canon Writing Contest ~ By all means, feel free to pimp out the contest, you can even let people know you’ve entered, but you are not allowed to give any hints indicating which entry might be yours. Remember, loose lips sink ships... and get your entry disqualified.

When:

• open for submissions: July 1st, 2012
• submission deadline: August 18th, 2012
• voting on the blog: August 19th - 25th, 2012
• winners announced: August 30th, 2012
• Entries may be posted to author profiles anytime after winners are annouced August 30th.

Why: We want you to broaden our horizons by mixing up the classical Twilight pairings. As long as you follow the rules listed below, the sky is the limit. Bring us your Riley and Jasper, your Carlisle and Bella, your Esme and Alice... any pairing you can imagine as long as it’s NOT canon. Slash, Fem-Slash, Het... Romance, Horror, Angst, Fluff, etc...we want to read them all!

Rules:

• Word count~ minimum 2k, maximum 10k (not including heading)
• While we are encouraging creativity with mixing up your pairings (or groupings), we are NOT encouraging creative grammar... your entry must be beta’d or it will be returned.
• One entry per penname allowed (collaborations are welcome).
• Must be a new, original one shot. No outtakes or previously posted stories are allowed. You may continue your story after August 30th if you choose.
• NO pedophilia, beastiality, rape or abuse.
• Twilight fandom only.
• No canon couples allowed.
• Lemons not required, but always appreciated.

• Originality of plot
• Use of dialogue
• Quality of writing
• Creativity of character mix up
• Can one shot stand on its own as a complete story
